| We survived Hurricane Ike unscathed. The "Duel 2030" app is being taken down now, but will reappear later on the (soon-to-be-constructed) Duel 2030 website. There are some new items to compensate for this on the Software/Games Page -- an XNA 3d game mod, a sneak preview of an upcoming XNA project, and a new battleship game. |

| Hurricane Ike is rolling in, so I'd better give you guys an update before the power goes down. I'm taking another semester of courses, so of course that has shifted my efforts somewhat. The cool part is that part of my college work is in the category of "Game Development" - and as an early example of that, I'll direct you to the Duel 2030 page so you can play the game. Work continues to progress at a snail's pace on various fronts. Believe me when I tell you that I am actually trying to get stuff done, it's just that these are big projects for a single guy to take on. Oh, and check the fan ages section of www.urucontinues.com. Something pretty cool will be posted there within the next 24 hours. |

| Wow, I really had problems with the store. As in, most people couldn't even buy most of the products. I realized what was wrong and have overhauled the KAGI store. It works very well now and you can now buy anything on there without trouble. Also, I've been uploading some more stuff to the members area. Production on Duel 2030 is set to begin in a few days, BTW, and there'll be a Flash project posted on the software page tomorrow. |

| Okay, everyone. I've moved Hornbostel Media and every other site off of IPowerweb and onto HostGator because the issues with the site were continual and IPowerweb's incompetent staff seemed unwilling or unable to fix them. But getting away from IPower proved rather painless; now all the sites are perfectly functional on the new host. I'd also like to report that I made some tweaks to the store. I changed its visual design a little. Also, for those curious about the whole advertising thing, I linked an informative advertising article to the About page. But most of all, I'd like to say, happily, that it is SUMMER and that this will be the best summer the site has ever seen. Watch out for a new Flash project, the first installments of the new Troop 4 comic, and updates regarding production of Duel 2030, Microcosm, and Traveler's Enigma - all of which are due to be released this summer. |
