SEND IN THE CLONES 4
This is by far the BIGGEST production I have tackled to date. It is also an enormously deranged finale to one of my most well-known series of odd action-comedies. The plot is more coherent, the cast more diverse, the comedy more efficient, the action blows away all my previous sequences. I have been doing this in between my other projects for 14 months, it will add up to: 35 minutes of final video, about 40 cast members and extras, $550 budget, over a dozen location shoots, 200 visual effects shots, 800+ man-hours of work by the cast and crew, 600 of which are my work, writing, recording, editing, vfx, dvd making, etc. This is marketed as an action movie in the trailer, and it is, but it's really more of a self-deprecating comedy with bizarre characters and a tendency to lampoon the action-movie format. The audio is better, camera work is better, scope is larger. The cast mostly consists of people from the Church of the Redeemer Youth Group. So, ultimately this will also be a comedic remembrance of people who are leaving for college and won't be around anymore.
